We're on a hiatus
Dear adventure film lover, outdoor enthusiast, film maker and friends.
The Irish Adventure Film Festival is on an extended sabbatical.
When will it be running again? Probably in a few years’ time. I’m in a season of my life where I want to focus on my young children. When that season passes, I’ll look to the festival once again.
In short, when the time is right, the festival will run again.
Thank you so much to all of our fans who have travelled from far and wide over eight years to attend the festival. Especially those that have been with us from the start.
Thank you to the film-makers, who number nearly one thousand, who have submitted films to us over the years.
You are all the reason we run this festival.

Irish Adventure
Film Festival ?
It's an adventure sports documentary film festival that screens films from around the globe. Many of the films are award-winning.
What to expect? Expect to laugh. You might cry (that happens). Whether you laugh or cry, we can guarantee one thing. You'll come away from the films uplifted.
Our aim is to inspire you to undertake your own adventure. No matter how small. You're a long time dead. Our lives are too short not to live them. Don't you think?
